About the ICSPAC logo

The ICSPAC logo represents the four major components of production and consumption that must be in balance with each other to maintain a high quality of life and sustainability:

• Investment
• Production
• Marketing
• Consumption

The "S" in the middle represents Sustainability, or Quality of Life.

While only consumption and production are usually considered in general discourse about sustainability, the diagram clearly implies that each major area contributes uniquely to achieving sustainable development. It also illustrates that each of these functions individually exists primarily to fulfill the joint goal of sustainability.

By ignoring or overemphasizing one or more components of this cycle, the picture becomes skewed and quickly strays from the intended goal.
